We designed and developed the largest and most updated online store with tea products, beverages and tea accessories in Greece!

Tea.gr is the largest and most updated online store with tea products, beverages and tea accessories in Greece as it offers more than 400 varieties of tea from every corner of the globe. Every day it carries out missions in Greece, Cyprus and all over the world. Also, To Tsai (means The Tea, in Greek) in Athens is the first Tea House in Greece.

In the centre of Athens at 19 Alexandrou Soutsou Street in Kolonaki you can find To Tsai. A minimalist, Japanese-influenced space where you can find and buy for your home, unique varieties of tea and beverages from around the world, teapots, cups, tea sets and all the accessories necessary for the proper preparation of the beverage. 2 comfortable handmade sofas are waiting for you to relax while you wait for your order to be prepared or to enjoy a cup of tea.

Therefore, we also emphasized on the design of the new Tea.gr e-shop in order for it to be an integral part of their brand!

We pursued a minimal design with an emphasis on product presentation, descriptions and details. After all, the photos, the descriptions and the variety of products, entering any of the categories of Tea.gr makes you want to enjoy a hot or cold tea at any time of the day.

From a technical and functional point of view, tea.gr is a complete B2C online store (for retail customers) and a B2B ecommerce store for wholesale (for customers and wholesale partners) with some additional features.

From Tea.gr you can make your purchase without having to register (i.e. as a guest) and choose whether you will receive an invoice or a receipt upon completion of your order. Of course, if you choose to register, you can access your order history and other details of your account, such as addresses, payment methods, etc.

Regarding the wholesale part (B2B ecommerce), if the partner has been approved by the eshop administrators, then he can access and view wholesale prices, have access to special price lists and offers only for partners, have access to promotional material and pages with special content, be able to place a quick order for products (Quick Order) and can place his orders online, quickly and easily, with a complete history of all products, quantities and orders that he has purchased before in the eshop.

Also, an integration with Skroutz.gr has been implemented in order to update products, prices and availability on the Skroutz platform automatically, when these data are updated in the online store.

In addition, an interface has been established with the company’s Social Media in Facebook and Instagram in order to be able to show the products there, to update the descriptions, the data, the prices and the availability in the Facebook Shop and Instagram Shop automated without the need for a store manager to update them manually on each platform separately.

Another feature in this project was to transfer all customer accounts from the old eshop to the new one so that users don’t have to re-create an account to log in to the new store. So, a registered user of the old tea.gr does not need to do anything in the new one, he just needs to fill in his details (Email and Password) from the customer login page and log in to his account. So simple!

It has also been interconnected with Email Marketing and automation platforms, such as MailChimp, as well as with other tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Pixel (ex. Facebook Pixel) in order to receive the information, statistics and performance of the marketing actions run by the company and accordingly formulate strategies and campaigns in all media. There is also an integration with Box Now for order shipments throughout Greece via Box Now Lockers.
